In the early summer of 2015, a documentary crew was given full access to film the operation and management of the Golden Hills Bowling Club, as well as the daily lives of the club’s staff and regular patrons. It turned out to be a greater insight than ever imagined. As with any club or community group, there is always a range of personalities and some are more pleasant than others. This fly-on-the-wall ‘docu-reality’ parody celebrates the diversity of the Golden Hills Bowls Club in the predominant perspective of Ryan - the cynical twenty-eight year old bar tender.
